Moment Hotels - A history of growth and innovation
Moment Hotels opened its doors in 2012 on Norra Vallgatan in the heart of Malmö. At the start, the hotel offered 55 modern rooms spread across floor two to five. Since the very beginning, the hotel’s vision was to create a sleek, comfortable, and efficient accommodation experience for its guests.
In 2016, Moment Hotels expanded its capacity with 9 new rooms on the first floor, as well as an additional 6 rooms on the sixth floor, marking an early step in the hotel’s growth journey.
In the fall of 2019, a significant new step was taken when the hotel had the opportunity to expand by integrating an adjacent property. Despite the global challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Moment Hotels continued to invest in the future. With the aim of offering an even better guest experience, a collaboration with IKEA was launched to develop the new section of the hotel.
The expanded section, completed in 2020, includes a flexible breakfast room, a conference room, and around 80 new hotel rooms. The breakfast room, designed to meet modern needs, functions both as a coworking space and a pleasant environment for the most important meal of the day.
Today, Moment Hotels boasts an impressive total capacity of 150 rooms, divided into five different categories to cater to all types of guests.
